Katniss and Peeta miraculously survived The Hunger Games but not without
consequences. Katniss should be relieved, happy even, but she's far from it.
Despite having been reunited with her family and childhood friend, Gale,
there's unrest in the districts as word of a rebellion gets out and the fingers
are pointed at Katniss alone for igniting this dangerous spark. Katniss has to
carry the weight of the world on her shoulders in this second novel as a
devastating event, which SHOULDN'T be possible, takes place and puts her life
on the line once more.
This novel is, dare I say it, possibly better than the
first! The new characters, original character development, twists, it's all
fantastic!
